International shipping quotes do not include customs and duty charges unless otherwise noted.
SHORTAGE POLICY
Customer must call us within 48 hours of receiving the shipment. If a claim is made at a later date, MirrorLite will not be held responsible. The shortage will be subject to investigation. If we find the claim is justified, we will either issue a credit or replace the merchandise. RUSH ORDERS
Rush orders and orders with delivery deadlines may be subject to an expedite charge of $85.00 per mirror due to the unusually short manufacturing lead time. MirrorLite cannot be held liable for late shipments if a guaranteed freight service is waived by the customer.
Procedure for Receiving Your Freight Shipment:
Prior to delivering your item(s), the carrier may contact you to schedule a convenient delivery appointment. Please be advised that the driver is only required to deliver the item “curbside” at the end of your driveway, or your dock. Some drivers are willing to do more, but to be safe please make any special arrangements with MirrorLite or the freight carrier prior to delivery. Any additional services such as inside delivery or liftgate will likely carry an additional cost and must be paid directly to MirrorLite.
Procedure for Receiving Your Freight Shipment: Upon delivery of the shipment, it is the customer’s responsibility to fully open and inspect all packages. It is also important to verify the quantity of the items received. Be sure that the number of items received matches the number of items on the delivery receipt. **If any damage or shortage is found, write a precise description of the damage or shortage on both your copy and the freight carrier’s copy of the delivery receipt. ** If you feel like this merchandise is damaged beyond repair then the merchandise should be REFUSED. Please do not sign for items that are or may be damaged unless it is noted on the form. If you refuse merchandise due to damages, contact MirrorLite immediately and we will pursue a replacement order for you and handle all of the dealings with the freight company.
Remember, once you sign for the shipment or give permission to the freight carrier to leave the merchandise, you are accepting the order in its current condition. All concealed damages must be reported within five (5) business days from when the package was received and DO NOT THROW AWAY CARTONS OR PACKING. If damage is not noted at time of delivery, we will still attempt to file a concealed damage claim with the freight carrier but we cannot guarantee the claim will be approved.
